Hello blogging world,
In our class room we have some letters from our Penpals. We are so excited to give our reply letter back to them because they have already send theirs to us. Now we are hoping that they reply back to us when our letters have reached them and it takes about 1 to probably 3 weeks to come.
We have done writing our letter and now we are just putting a boarder around our letter because we are doing it on a piece of paper. After we are done with that then we are ready to send the letters to our Penpals.

Swimming lesson Lesson 4
Hello blogging world,
Yesterday was our fourth swimming lesson and we wore life jackets in the big, deep pool at Cameron pools. We first had to get changed into our swimming togs then wear a life jacket that was our size. Most of the life jackets were already worn on and the water that was dripping from the life jacket was COLD! It was very difficult to swim with our life jackets.
In the pool we were practicing first how to slide into the pool and how to climb out of the pool. For me it was hard to climb out of the pool because I kept falling in the pool all over again. But when I tried to climb into the pool my friends helped me.
When we were also practicing what to do when were stuck in the sea or the ocean. We try to warm yourself up with other people stuck with us, and we do that by huddling together and we are also trying to do this to prevent hypothermia. Hypothermia is when you get cold and you might act crazy.
We also did a practice when we on this board but we pretend its a ship so we pretend that there were waves so the people not on the boat are splashing waves because we were in split teams but we had the same instructor. After that we pretended that the ship broke and we fell of the boat so we huddled up and 3, 2, 1 we took our feet of the ground to prevent hypothermia. Then we waved for help so the opposite team was on the wall and then through a floating noodle that you use to float. The threw it and then pulled us, at last they pulled us up then we did the same thing but swapping over.
Hope you enjoyed reading my blog post,

Kia ora blogging world,
Todays Cybersmart lesson with Gerhard we used a cool thing called Google My Maps. It is a great, helpful and fun tool to use with this tool you can save places, make layers and make routes to other places. Here is a map of all the schools in the Ako hiko cluster.

Collaboration
Kia Ora Blogging World
WALT: Collaborate using google apps
Today during cyber smart with our Ako Hiko Teacher, Gerhard, came into our class and taught us how we collaborate on google apps. We also learned what collaborate means and some new ways to collaborate.
From today's lesson I learned, how to use the suggesting tool. We use it when we are on suggesting mode, like for example I'm on suggesting mode on my friends google doc and then there is a mistake, and you want to edit it then you could delete the the spot that needs editing then you would write down the write way to write it. After that the owner could accept or reject it.
I would like to know when you collaborate and you can tell me when I should collaborate. Please give me some feed back.

Our Pest Tracker Experiment
Kia ora blogging world,
In room 8 we have made a pest tracker so we can find out if there are any pests at our school, also that is why there are some milk bottles around our school that we left on Saturday and Sunday. When we came back on Monday we saw something has gone different and wrong. There were no sign that the footprints of the pest weren't there, but there was good news because the milk bottle we put peanut butter in, most of the peanut butter was gone.
We made a pest tracker because we are learning about New Zealand Native birds and keeping them from being endangered or extinct and the pest are making our precious New Zealand Native birds get endangered, and we want to save our Beautiful New Zealand Native birds by tracking the pests and where they could be. Also here is a picture of our milk bottle when we brought into our class room.

W.A.L.T: To identify parts of a Narritive
Welcome bloggers,
This term I have been learning about how to identify the parts of a narrative and how to write a narrative.
This term I have been learning about how to identify the parts of a narrative and how to write a narrative.
I found this challenging because I had to think hard not that hard and write my own narrative but at the end I had succeeded and this my result.
I hope you had a great time reading my blog post
Please give me Feedback
